Sonic and CPT Combination Combining the benefits of Sonic Drilling with CPT to provide continuous CPT data after encountering a point of refusal. The Drill’n CPT unit mounts on any of our Sonic Drill fleet of track-mounted rigs instantly – converting them into a CPT rig on the spot. This CPT unit ensures the collection of CPT data to target depth no matter the material density within the strata. This combination also provides a cost effective and highly efficient teaming of Sonic sampling and CPT services within a single mobilised package of assets, reducing cost and project timeframes.
